STRAIGHT ELEMENTS
Two versions: power transport and distribution.
3 m bars – the distribution version has no. 3 branch sockets.
9 distinct capacities: 100A/160A/250A/315A/400A/500A/630A/800A/1000A.
4 or 5 conductors of equal cross section made of an aluminium alloy.
In the straight element, the conductors are air insulated and separated by a self-extinguishing technopolymer strap.
The single-bolt joints absorb any thermal expansion of the conductors. Therefore, no thermal expansion elements are envisaged in the installation composition.
The vertical installation of risers does not require elements with bar locks.
POWER SUPPLIES
Power supplies are fit with their respective end-of-line closures.
The connection is made quickly as for straight elements.
They come in two versions: with and without joint.
The 100A to 1000A power supplies are equipped with plates for connection via a cable terminal.
For installations where the power arrival point is close to the centreline of the electrified power line, intermediate power supplies can be used; this also helps reduce the end-of-line drop in voltage.
ADDITIONAL ELEMENTS
Corners
Horizontal, vertical and combined double corner pieces are provided for changes in direction
Switchgear\Transformer connections
Specific elements for switchgear/transformer side connection.
JUNCTION BOXES (PLUGS)
Junction boxes are used to supply motive force to single-phase and three-phase users.
They can be plugged/unplugged while the busbar trunking system is powered.
All boxes and insulating components are made of self-extinguishing plastic except for the 250A/630A boxes the outer part of which is made of metal.
Given its construction, the junction box cannot be inserted incorrectly.
The junction box contacts are clamped onto the busbar trunking and are suitable for higher capacities, and even allow for jointing.
Live parts cannot be accessed when the door to the junction box is open.
